SP Middle East WLL – joint venture sports marketing, event management / sponsorship company, based in Bahrain; 18 fulltime people with estimated 2007 turnover of BD 1.8 million (GBP 2.5 million).

2005-2007

Head of Events & Broadcasting; responsible for development of 7 man event team and the organisation, management, delivery and broadcast activation of a range of events including the European Tour Seniors Tour Championship (2005/2006/2007), the Bahrain leg of the 2006 Asian Games Torch Relay, junior Asian Series Tennis Tournaments (2006 and 2007), Inter Milan winter training camp and friendly match (2007), celebrity visits – Boris Becker (2006 and 2007); grass roots youth football tournament (2007); development of motor sport reality TV programme (2007); responsibilities included sponsor identification / contracting / management, all media / promotion, event design / management / delivery.

SP Holdings PLC – AIM listed marketing services group, £6 million turnover; Financial / Commercial Consultant / Interim Finance Director (based in London).
General input to financial matters; assisted in winning proposal re Manchester United master clothing license for UK / Europe (£10 million annual revenues), Rangers master clothing license worldwide (£5 million annual revenues) and acquisition of £3 million turnover internet retailer; Project managed office move re consolidation of 50 people from 3 locations, established financial procedures, HR procedures, legal / contractual processes, maintained Group cash stability in re-financing phase.

2003–2004

SNaG Free LLP – project based assignments (based in UK). Prepared business plan for start-up TV channel (to raise Seed Capital of £100K), interim management / business plan / refinancing of Internet marketing platform (to raise £5 million), business plan / prospectus for OFEX investment (£1.75 million) in racing driver, restructuring finance dept / license proposals for AIM quoted marketing services group (£10 million turnover), prepared business plan for start-up panel advertising company (£1.5 million).

Organiser – www.racingforcharity.com (based in UK). Established web site to auction motor sport memorabilia, proceeds to children’s charities; liaison with motor sport organizations and personalities
