- ISTC London Meeting 15th October 2004: The speak
er was be Margery Watson of our New Zealand sister society TCANZ. Margery will be visiting the UK in her capacity as President of INTECOM, the international group of technical communication societies, of which the ISTC has been a member for many years. Margery outlined the nature of INTECOM, how it operates, what it does and the services it provides to individuals and member organisations.

- To assist a friend we have added details of a substantial French House near the Belgian border to the CHL Shop.
- Hosted London Group meeting of ISTC - Matthew Ellison presented Practical guidelines for selecting a Help Authoring Tool with reference to three main paradigms. This was a great evening with Matthew coming all the way from the New Forest and 14 ISTC members from around London (Welwyn, Enfield, Dorking, Kingston and even David Farbey from the other side of the Thames. [CHL is of course on the South Bank]).
- Work continued on two web sites for a client running Lodge and Villa rental and walking and forest walking weekends for women.
