I have extensive experience in all aspects of technical communication, including:

  • Producing user documentation, procedures, courseware and on-line documentation
  • Training bespoke systems and Microsoft Office products
  • Designing web sites

For the last six years I have used Information Mapping techniques exclusively when designing and developing user documentation and courseware.
I am a member of the Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators.

Developed an Installation Guide and a Reference Manual in Structured Framemaker 8.0 for DataTrans, a message-routing product tailored to the financial sector that combines business process automation, enterprise integration and data management.
Created a second version of both manuals using conditional text.
Developed training material for Structured Framemaker to enable m35 staff to maintain the manuals.

Developed training material for a customised ERM system based on Néogia, a French open ERM system. I delivered training to the Commercial, Accounting and Customer Services teams.
Set up a Customer Services knowledge base in Confluence, an open, wiki-based documentation tool and wrote a training manual to enable Customer Services to create their own Confluence documentation.
