Training needs analysis, devising and delivering a vocational training programme within the Romanian Ministry of Public Finance: Implementation Agencies. Basic, Intermediate and Advanced training programme (including on the job training). Devised and carried out a classroom based training programme for the beneficiaries. Worked through an innovative on-the-job training programme on a one-to-one basis for each beneficiary: this yielded results having significant lasting benefits.
September 2004 - Present
Presenter of an ongoing series of weekly seminars for managers in Dubai and Kuwait for a Scottish University and Training and Event Management Companies based in Dubai. Also carried out similar seminars for an event management company in Bangkok and Singapore.

The training of 25 Professors of Accounting from the Balkans in the practical application of international financial standards together with demonstrations of the design and development of teaching strategies and educational materials creation.
Joint European Taurus Project
Abingdon, UK European Union funded project researching the ways in which nuclear fusion can become a commercial proposition
Intranet redesign and development
Assessed and redesigned the structure of the Intranet of a department within a major Nuclear Fusion organisation. As a result of this redesign, all materials are now retrievable within three clicks, browsability is significantly enhanced and 20 hours per week user time is saved.

Product Cost Systems Development within their Private Sector Accounting Reform Project:
Implemented a product cost system in a variety of organizations in and around Sarajevo leading to the identification of major weaknesses, an overhaul of internal communication systems and the provision of vital management information needed for decision making and control. Included the training of the IBTCI local personnel, accountants and Professors of Accounting.

Based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan International Development Specialists that has completed over 500 projects in 65 countries since 1997
Director of Curriculum Reform for the Central Asian Republics within their SME Development Project.
Designed and implemented an accounting curriculum for the CIPA qualification.
The Central Asian Accounting Community had been operating for around two years without an acceptable training and assessment curriculum. Overcame several barriers, changed culture and thinking, worked with all relevant parties, and developed a curriculum that was accepted and ratified by the accounting community as well as several significant international accounting bodies such as the AICPA, ICAS, IMA and IFAC and the ACCA.

Took over a $2 million SME Development Project part way through the assignment and overhauled its structure and strategic focus: leading to the reduction in staffing costs by 60% and significantly increasing output.
Based in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia Training / Cost modelling
Initially Developing and Presenting Training Courses relating to the understanding of International Accounting Standards then Director of the Product Cost System Development Team within their $3.5 million Enterprise Accounting Reform Project.
To overcome the complete lack of product cost and management information data in many SMEs devised and developed a spreadsheet based Product Cost Model that can be used and/or adapted for use by any organisation. As a result of using this model, businesses can derive product, departmental, labour, and machine costs.

Worked with a variety of industrial and academic clients, including joint chief examinership in the management module for the NCC in Manchester; educational materials development both for the University of Bristol Institute for Learning and Research Technology and Skillgate.com; part time teaching for CIMA stage 2 management Accounting and A level business studies courses.
Ramboll 1993 – 1998
Based in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan A 4,200 employee Civil Engineering and Consultancy organization based in Denmark: approximate turnover £130 million per year.
Director of the MBA Programme and Professor of Accounting at the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP) and Director of the $7 million Project whose task it was to develop the MBA programme
Kazakhstan, with European Union assistance, sought to establish an internationally acceptable Business School. Led a small team of experts together with local support staff over a five year period to establish what became known as “one of the best models of its kind in the CIS”
